Couponers have their own talk and their own lingo. Not sure what they are saying or meaning? Check out my cheat sheet here. You'll be using them in no time!
+UP = Plus Up Rewards (an incentive offered by Rite Aid)
B1G1 or BOGO = Buy 1 Get 1 (could be either half off or free, depending)
Blinkies = Coupons found in stores, usually near the product there are for and blink with a red light
Catalina = Coupons that print out at the register after check out
DND = Do Not Double
EB = Extra Bucks (an incentive offered by CVS)
FAR = Free After Rebate
GM = General Mills (a product brand, also a coupon insert that comes out periodically in the Sunday paper)\
MFC = Manufacturer Coupon
MIR = Mail In Rebate
OOP = Out of Pocket
Peelie = An instant coupon found on the product that you peel off to use
PG = Proctor & Gamble (a coupon insert found in the Sunday paper)
Q = Coupon
RP = Red Plum (a coupon insert found in the Sunday paper)
RR = Register Rewards (an incentive offered by Walgreens)
SC = Store Coupon
SS = Smart Source (a coupon insert found in the Sunday paper)
Stacking = Using both a manufacturer coupon with a store coupon to get extra savings
Tear Pad = Along the same lines as blinkies and peelies, just found in a pad that you rip off to use
WYB = When You Buy
